NOTA Awards Time!
We need your help to honor some of the outstanding individuals in our profession. Nominations are now being accepted for 2017 NOTA awards. Awards will be presented in several categories to honor individuals for their contributions to the profession of occupational therapy!

Call for Poster Presentation
The Nebraska Occupational Therapy Association is soliciting entries for a Poster Session, to be held at NOTA’s Annual Conference in Omaha at Creighton University - Skutt Student Center, 2500 California Plaza, February 24th & 25th, 2017.
All presenters are responsible for their own conference registration and expenses. Entries must be received by January 9th, 2017. All presenters will be notified of their acceptance by January 20th, 2017.
Posters may be on any topic relevant to occupational therapy practice and continuing education will be provided for those who view the posters. Practitioners and students are encouraged to apply. Click here for complete poster requirements and to submit your poster presentation form.

Dry Needling- Attorney General Opinion
Courtney Phillips, CEO of the Department of Health and Human Services, recently requested an Attorney General Opinion on whether dry needling is within the scope of practice of physical therapy, occupational therapy, or athletic training in Nebraska. Please see the links below for information on the Attorney General Opinion regarding dry needling that was received on July 11, 2016. This Attorney General Opinion is available on the Attorney General's website and on the DHHS Licensure Unit website at the links below.
